ERIN JUDD AMENDOLA

Studio Owner/Artistic Director

Erin has been studying all genres of dance for over 30 years with many different dance studios and companies, focusing on Modern, Tap, and Ballet.  She has earned several awards for her choreography from Dance America National Dance Competition, NYLA Dance Conv & Comp, High Demand Dance Competition, and Starpower National Talent Competition. In 2019 she was humbled to receive two choreography awards for her tap dance, ‘Cadence’ at Edge National Talent Competition and at the U.S. Tournament of Dance. In 2021 she received one for her piece entitled ‘Nails Hair Hips Heels’ at Believe National Talent Competition, and this year received one for her tap dance 'Dog Days Are Over' at Breakout Dance Competition.
While growing up and learning to dance here on Long Island, Ms. Judd received many awards from competitions and traveled often attending dance seminars and taking master classes. She went on to graduate Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology from SUNY New Paltz, where her work was chosen every semester to be in the annual Fresh Dance show. She was also chosen to perform at the annual AAHPERD Benefit in Philadelphia with other selected students representing her alma mater.  Before leaving college,  Ms. Judd studied abroad for a semester in Urbino, Italy for Modern dance.
She was a member of EMIAJ, Ltd. Modern Dance Company for several years, with whom she performed in the annual 'Dancers Responding to Aids' Benefit in NYC. Ms. Judd is currently a member and Co-Director of Where the Lines Overlap Dance Company.

TIFFANY BEREZNY

Tumbling, Lyrical, Contemporary

Tiffany has been studying dance for over 30 years. She attended SUNY Purchase and graduated with a major in Liberal Studies and a minor in Women's Studies. Tiffany was a member of the dance team while in college and trained with many professional teachers. After college, Tiffany went on to teach at studios in Suffolk County where she taught Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical & Tumbling recreational & competitively. She choreographed for many regional & national competitions where her work won various first place awards and high scoring medals. She has also earned awards for her choreography on a piece entitled ‘Hide and Seek’ and for a piece entitled ‘Unsteady’ at High Demand Dance Competition.  Tiffany is a member and choreographer for Where the Lines Overlap Dance Company.

CHRISTINA DELGADO

Hip Hop

Christina has been dancing for over 20 years. She takes pride in shaping the lives of children and adults through the art of dance. She specializes in hip-hop and Step, in which she’s choreographed and won numerous competitions. Dancing is not her only passion, Christina is a creator, singer, entertainer photographer, but her most rewarding passion is being a mother to her five-year-old son Dominique. She is currently attending SUNY Old Westbury to obtain her degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Special Education. Christina is a proud member of Where the Lines Overlap Dance Company and will continue dancing until the end of time.

SAMANTHA GRAVIANO

Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary

Samantha started dance at the young age of 2 where she trained as a national competition dancer. Training at Broadway Dance Center, Elite Dancers, and NY Dance Center. Along with competitive dance she was also Captain of her High School Kickline Team and a member and Captain of the Division 1 University of Hartford Dance Team. She has taught at studios across Suffolk and Nassau County along with Connecticut and New York City. Samantha founded her own Nonprofit Dance Company in June of 2019 called “SLG Dance Company” where she raises funds for local charities. She is also currently a member of the Where the Lines Overlap Dance Company. Samantha received her Associates degree in Criminal Justice from Suffolk Community College and is currently attending St. Joseph’s college majoring in Criminal Justice as well. When she’s not dancing Samantha is working for the County Sheriff or volunteering with the Victim Information Bureau of Suffolk.

ESMERALDA MONTEMORANO

Hip Hop

Esmeralda has been dancing since she was 4 years old here on Long Island.  She was trained in every genre of dance but took off with Hip Hop. This is her second year teaching here at Studio East and she currently teaches at another studio as well.  Esmeralda became a first-time mother to her daughter Ryann in 2017 and hopes her daughter will follow in her footsteps and have the same passion for dance.  She is also a member of the Where the Lines Overlap Dance Company.

URSULA NIGRO

Ballet

Ursula Nigro started dancing at a very young age. When she turned fifteen, she began to study ballet with Robert Christopher, a retired  principal dancer for the American Ballet Theater. That same year, she was accepted into Long Island High School for the Arts where she studied ballet, character dance, modern, classical jazz, tap, dance composition, and dance history. She spent three wonderful years there and studied with a plethora of professional dancers from all over the world.


At sixteen, she was accepted as a principal dancer for Long Island Ballet Theater, once again under the direction of Robert Christopher. She soon became one of the company’s Ballet Mistresses, tasked with giving the second and third companies ballet class weekly and composing short pieces for their yearly holiday performance. She also traveled the Northeast of the country as a demonstrator for Christopher’s National Dance Teachers Seminars. She was nineteen when she began teaching at her first dance studio on Long Island, all while being a preforming member of JC Lynn Jazz Company and JC Lynn Kick Line. After taking a hiatus to raise her family, she went back to teaching and choreographing for competitions all over Long Island. She has over thirty years of experience teaching dance and enjoys passing on her love of dance to the younger generations.

GRETA PETERS

Ballet, Tiny Dancers

Greta has been dancing for 20 years and was a competitive dancer on the Studio East competition team. She contributes by teaching young dancers and is a substitute teacher for many classes. Greta has also been a member of Where the Lines Overlap for 9 years. Greta attends St. Joseph’s College as an Elementary Education major and is also studying Psychology of young minds. In the future, she will continue her passion for dance and also get her masters degree in Childhood Special Education in Severe and Multiple Disabilities.

TIFFANY ROBINSON

Jazz, Contemporary

Dance plays a significant role in Tiffany's life. Once introduced to dance by her sister Blair, she never looked back and has enjoyed every minute of it. She has taken classes at local studios, Broadway Dance Center, and Ailey to learn all different dance styles such as hip hop, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, and ballet. Tiffany has performed in various competitions, winning platinum, first place medals and, other special awards. She actively choreographs for regional and national competitions at another studio as well. Tiffany has a BA in social welfare and is also a member of Where the Lines Overlap Dance Company.

TAYLOR WILSON

Jazz, Tap

Taylor has been dancing since the age of six and competing since the age of eight. She has trained in all genres, but her heart belongs to tap. Throughout high school, Taylor was a member of the William Floyd Varsity Rockettes and the Elite Dancers Competition Team. Now she is attending St. Joseph’s College and is on their Dance Team. Taylor is a member of Where the Lines Overlap Dance Company and SLG Dance Company where she is excited to use her love of dance to positively impact the community.

IN LOVING MEMORY

Blair Robinson

1982 - 2021

Blair spent over 20 years dancing and more than 15 years teaching hip hop, tap, and jazz at studios throughout Suffolk County. She taught at  Studio East, Stars on Stage Dance Academy, and North Fork Academy of Dance at Mainstage, along with many others. She taught competition-level hip hop, tap, and jazz.  In 2007, her Hip Hop Performing Group was named National Champions at Dance America National Dance Competition. In 2018 her hip hop trio won first place overall at the Spirit of Dance nationals, and her hip hop team was one of 8 numbers selected, out of a few hundred, to perform at a dance gala. In 2021, her co-choreographed piece, entitled ‘Welcome to Wakanda’ received an “Entertainment Award” at Believe National Talent Competition. Blair has been sought out to choreograph weddings, fashion shows, and other various events. In early 2019, Blair choreographed for an upcoming rap artist, No $leep. She also coached him for live performances for the BET Weekend Teen experience, choreography, and casting for his music video.  After graduating from Dowling College with a B.B.A. in Business Management, Blair founded Where the Lines Overlap Dance  Company in 2011, which is a non for profit organization that allows dancers to continue their dance career after high school.

Blair will always be with us.
